CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — Idaho State Police (ISP) are investigating an accident that took the life of a motorcyclist in Caldwell Wednesday afternoon.
ISP says the incident occurred just before 1:30 p.m. at the South Montana Avenue and East Ustick Road intersection.
A 44-year-old Caldwell man riding a 2022 Kowasaki EX400 motorcycle was heading westbound on East Ustick Road when a 33-year-old Caldwell man in a 1993 Subaru Impreza heading northbound on South Montana Avenue failed to yield at a stop sign and hit the Kawasaki.
The motorcycle driver died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.
The driver of the Subaru remained at the scene.
ISP is still investigating the incident.
