The arrival of Starfield is nearly upon us, and due to the game's massive hype, being one of Bethesda's first new IPs in over a decade, there's naturally quite a lot of buzz in the air. This has led many to scour the internet for reviews of the game and what to expect, and sadly coming up with none.
Thankfully, this won't be the case for much longer as the embargo on the game's reviews is soon to lift, which will open the floodgates on Sarfield reviews. So below, you can find the embargo lift date and time that will mark the beginning of tons of awesome Starfield reviews (including ours).
Starfield Embargo Lift Date & Time For Reviews
The official lifting of the Starfield review embargo is scheduled for August 31, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. BST. This conveniently occurs just a day before the early access release date, allowing you a brief window to determine whether you wish to acquire the game or not, assuming you haven't already made up your mind.
Here are the Starfield review embargo details translated into several different time zones, so you can be well-prepared:
- PDT - 09:00 am (August 31)
- EDT - 12:00 pm (August 31)
- UTC - 16:00 pm (August 31)
- BST - 17:00 pm (August 31)
- CEST - 18:00 pm (August 31)
- IST - 21:30 pm (August 31)
- CST - 00:00 am (September 1)
- JST - 01:00 am (September 1)
- AEST - 02:00 am (September 1)
Review codes for Starfield were distributed on August 17, 2023, giving players around two weeks to engage with the game before finalizing their evaluations. While this timeframe might not fully encompass the duration required to complete Starfield, it should ideally provide ample opportunity for other reviewers (and ourselves) to grasp the game's essence and intricate systems and present them back to you accordingly.
Although the game undeniably appears poised to meet expectations, the full picture of how Starfield truly shapes up will only become clear on August 31. In any case, it's certain to be among this year's most highly anticipated releases. If you're intrigued by the prospect of trying it out, ensure you're informed about the platforms on which the game will be accessible, so you can jump right in upon its launch.
