Nekros has been considered one of the best endgame Warframes for some time now. Largely due to his great sustain, and viable stealth. His real strength is in his Desecrate ability, which affects all dead enemies within a certain radius and causes the corpse to be consumed and more loot to drop. The result is a Warframe that can continuously provide itself with Health, Ammo, Energy, and mission-specific items like Life Support and Power Cells. This makes Nekros extremely useful in long missions.

Nekros Farming

To find the Nekros component blueprints you will need to head to the Orokin Derelict and perform Assassination missions. The level range for this mission is 25-35 and will see you take on the Infested boss, Lephantis. To access the mission you will need an Orokin Derelict Assassination key. The blueprint can be purchased from the Market for 2,500 Credits.

The key requires the following components to build in the Foundry:

  • 7,500 Credits
  • 5 Levanthis Nav Coordinates (these drop on the Orokin Derelict tileset)
  • 4000 Nano Spores
  • 1000 Salvage
  • 100 Circuits

Once you have the key, you can access the mission via your Navigator. It should be noted here that you will need multiple keys to get all the pieces you need. Each time you run the mission successfully a component will drop. Each component has an equal chance of dropping, so it may take multiple runs for you to get all the pieces you need.

Levanthis is a large boss with three components. The first two parts can perform ranged and AoE attacks, while the third has a melee attack. I find it best to focus on both ranged parts first, as the melee can be easily dodged. Once you defeat all three parts, you will fall through the floor and fight a combined Levanthis. Once again, kill all three parts and the fight is done. Thankfully, despite being a very strong Warframe, Nekros farming should not take you that long.

Once you have received the Neuroptics, Chassis, and Systems components you have almost everything you need to build a Nekros. The final part is a Nekros Blueprint, which is available from the Market for 100,000 Credits.

Crafting Cost

The crafting cost for the Nekros components are as follows:

Neuroptics

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 150 Alloy Plate
  • 1 Neural Sensor
  • 150 Polymer Bundle
  • 500 Rubedo

Chassis

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 1 Morphics
  • 1000 Ferrite
  • 300 Rubedo

Systems

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 1 Control Module
  • 1 Morphics
  • 500 Salvage
  • 220 Plastids

Once you have all three components built (they have a 12 hour build time but can all be built at the same time), you will need 25,000 Credits and 3 Orokin Cells to build the Warframe itself. This will have a 72 hour build time.

Now you have been successful in your Nekros farming, you can start to Rank it up and figure out how you wish to upgrade it. I hope you found this guide useful, Tenno.
