Four central stations on the Moscow metro's Gray Line will be closed Saturday for general repair work, a spokeswoman told The Moscow Times.
The stations — Chekhovskaya, Borovitskaya, Polyanka and Serpukhovskaya — will reopen the next day around 5:30 a.m.
The Gray Line's other stations will function as usual Saturday. Trolleybuses will shuttle passengers between the closed stations above ground.
The metro's next scheduled closures are in early May on the Red and Purple lines, state news agency M24 reported.
Three southwestern stations on the Red Line — Prospekt Vernadskogo, Yugo-Zapadnaya and Troparyovo — will be closed for maintenance from May 2 to May 4.
Two southeastern Purple Line stations — Lermontovsky Prospekt and Zhulebino — will be closed on May 2 to prepare for the inauguration of the newly built Kotelniki station at the end of the line.
