FIRST PHOTO: Na Kamehameha Commemorative Pa’u Parade Pa’u Queen Ashley Lehuanani Branco rides in Saturday’s parade. Having represented all eight islands as part of a complete Pa’u unit, Branco was the event’s first queen in more than 10 years, organizers said. Kamehameha Day honors the first king of the Kingdom Hawaii, Kamehameha I, and was first celebrated on June 11, 1872.

Ampong was named Outstanding Pa’u Princess and her Pa’u unit took second overall.
THIRD PHOTO: Lahaina Restoration Foundation celebrates 60 years as Hawaii nonprofit organization with a flat Saturday. Charted in 1962 with a mission to be stewards and storytellers of Lahaina’s historic and cultural heritage, the LAC took second in the Decorated Vehicle / Float Division.
